She closed the season with 14 digs and a career-high three assists in Pacific's 3-2 win over Saint Mary's on Nov. 26. Mason had 11 digs in the Tigers' 3-2 loss to Sacramento State on Nov. 25. Rebecca reached a career-high with 15 digs in the Tigers' 3-2 loss to UC Santa Barbara on Nov. 10. Mason tied a career-high with five service aces in the Tigers' 3-0 loss to Cal Poly on Oct. 14. Rebecca had set her career-high of five aces just over one week earlier in Pacific's 3-0 win over UC Davis on Oct. 6. Mason notched her first collegiate kill and picked up 10 digs in Pacific's 3-1 win over UC Riverside on Sept. 24. Mason made her collegiate debut in two matches on Aug. 27 as she finished the first match of the day with an ace and three digs in Pacific's 3-0 win over North Dakota. Later that evening, Rebecca delivered her second career ace and nabbed seven digs in the Tigers' 3-1 win over Marquette on Aug. 27.High School/Club: A 2005 graduate of Los Gatos High School in Los Gatos, Calif., where she was a four-year letterwinner. While at Los Gatos HS, Mason played with current Tiger teammate Alexa Anderson. During the 2004 season, Alexa and Rebecca led Los Gatos HS to a 12-0 record in the Santa Clara Valley DeAnza Division (SCVDD), the Cats also reached a ranking as high as 15th in the nation with an overall record of 35-5. In each of her final three seasons at Los Gatos HS, Rebecca was named to the All-SCVAL (Santa Clara Valley Athletic League) First Team. Following her senior season, Mason received a spot on the All-Mercury News Volleyball Team ... Academically, Rebecca graduated with honors from Los Gatos HS.Personal: Rebecca Mason is the daughter of Ralph and Ilene Mason and has one brother, Jonathan. Rebecca is planning to major in political science in her first year at Pacific.
